Urban Commons Lab

Open the Door to the Contemporary Experimental Co-Living Field

Concluding the three-year public art programming at the Linkou Social Housing Complex, this travelling exhibition documented and showcased a collection of work from the program. Altogether, the work of 15 teams was featured in the exhibition that took place at two locations: C-Lab in Taipei and the Public Information Library in Taichung. The exhibition highlighted the conceptual framework for the pioneering public art program, the largest of its kind in Taiwan, focusing on having art function as a vehicle for community building, namely, community engagement and the making of relational art.
